The Edwards Purple Fuzz is based off of a Fuzz Face with a few updates. It has Russian NKT 275 germanium transistors. Both transistors have individual internal bias control trim pots to control the voltage to each transistor to dial in gain and headroom as well as the amount of fuzz. The external bias knob controls overall bias to both transistors to dial the fuzz in on the fly. Along with a volume and fuzz controls, this fuzz gives the best of vintage germanium fuzz tones.
